You could spend 20 years and not see all of Indonesia's 17000 islands, only two thirds of them are actually inhabited. Cool spots include the isolated island of Sumba where you can learn about tribal traditions. Visit Sumatra and the site of one of the world's largest ever volcanic eruptions, Danau Toba. Kelimutu is another volcanic lake worth visiting. Snorkel at the coral gardens of the Banda Islands and dive along the World War Two shipwrecks in Pulau Biak. If you have ay energy left go hiking or bamboo rafting in Loksado

Seminyak
Situated on Bali's west coast, Seminyak is considered to be a suburb of Kuta. Here you will not only find the best and certainly most expensive shopping in Bali but you will also find some amazing nightlife and high-end restaurants. Definitely check out Ku de Ta bar which has earned the title of one of the best part spots in Bali.
Lombok
The tropical island of Lombok is a magnificent destination for activity junkies. Surfers will be in paradise at Kuta and Sumbawa and the Gili Islands, where you can also dive. For those of you who prefer terra firma, head to Gunung Rinjani, a volcano with an impressive crater lake. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you leave some energy to go nightclubbing back in Kuta.
